What You May Not Know About Anthony Alfredo:
What type of car is your daily driver?
Volkswagen Passat
Has racing always been a part of your family and what age did you start racing?
I grew up in a family of racing fans. My parents were traveling to races a few times a year before I was even born. My siblings and I rental kart races as kids when I was six. I ultimately pursued a career in it since my family was always into Motorsports and sparked my interest.
What was your very first win?
Tri-County Motor Speedway in a limited late model.
Do you have a pre-race tradition/routine/superstition?
Prayer.
What’s your favorite paint scheme?
Andy’s Frozen Custard! Those colors pop and stand out so well.
Do you have a racing idol?
I always liked Carl Edwards, not only because he was an absolute wheelman, but he always seemed to have a smile on his face and stayed humble through all of his success. He seems like a great role model.
What’s your favorite track or race and why?
Darlington Raceway. It has all of my favorite characteristics in a track; worn out surface, high speeds, technical, and you can move around to find an ideal line that suits the handling of your car.
What is your favorite treat at Andy’s?
I love getting a custom vanilla concrete with Oreos, Reese’s, and waffle cone pieces. Sometimes I switch up the toppings.
Tell us what you like to do in your spare time that no one else would know.
I share most of my interests and hobbies on social media, but I really like technology. I like building computes or making upgrades to my current PCs.
Tell us about your pet(s) if you have any.
No pets, but I want a golden retriever soon!
If you weren’t racing what other career would you like to have?
I really enjoy construction and seeing projects come to life, so stir development and commercial building is a field I could have seen myself pursuing, if not racing.
What activities do you like to do with your family?
Hiking, fishing, getting out on a lake, and pretty much anything else outdoors.
What’s your favorite way to celebrate a win?
Celebrating with family and friends. Enjoying it with the team and people behind the scenes who helped make it happen is special.
