Allergen Statement

All of our stores offer products with milk, eggs, gluten, peanuts, soy, and/or tree nuts. Once we are alerted, we do everything in our ability to minimize the risk of cross contact, but unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that any of our treats can be completely free of allergens. We understand that this may disappoint some guests, but it is important to us that we remain transparent about what we can and cannot guarantee.

Does custard have eggs? Are they pasteurized?

  • Yes and Yes. The egg yolks we purchase are initially pasteurized. We then pasteurize our custard mix, eggs and all, at 178 degrees.

Is your custard gluten free?

  • Yes! Our vanilla and chocolate custard are both gluten-free.

Do you have any sugar-free options?

  • Our only sugar free option is our fresh brewed unsweet tea.

What are your dairy-free options?

  • At selected stores, we carry Zarlengo’s Italian Ice. This sweet treat is peanut-free, tree nut-free, soy-free, cholesterol-free, fat-free, gluten-free, and dairy free. Our Italian Ice has no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives of any kind!

What is the source of your mono and diglycerides?

  • The mono and diglycerides in our custard mix are of plant origin sourced from soybean oil. The ingredients are highly refined and do not contain any traces of Soy Protein and therefore these ingredients are not an allergen concern. 

Does your milk use rBGH/rBST in production?

  • No, our milk does not use rBGH/rBST in the production of our milk. Andy’s Frozen Custard and our partners have pledged to never use these synthetics.

Does Andy’s have any products that are Kosher?

At Andy’s Frozen Custard, we have a variety of products that are Kosher certified. Certificates are available upon request, please e-mail customerservice@eatandys.com.
